About Mauro Farms Bakery

Mauro Farms & Bakery is a family owned and operated business. The tradition continues to be passed down with the 4th generation of bakers working in our bakery and on the farm. Everyone in the family does their part and works together to make our business what it is.

We owe all that we have to God; over the years he has blessed our family, farm, the bakery and just the business in general. Because of his grace we have what we do today. We are excited that our business continues to grow with your support.

Our grandmother started selling potica in 1963 to friends and relatives. Within 2 years, her business was booming and her potica was in demand. With the help of her oldest son, Robert and his wife Judy, her business continued to grow.

In 1981 Robert and his family opened a retail produce store to sell the produce they grew on the farm, along with shipping wholesale. Judy, with the help of her daughter Carla, used the kitchen there to do canning and baking for her family. Two of the delicious baked goods that came from her kitchen were fruit breads and her frozen homemade pies. Customers buying at the store often asked if they could purchase the breads and pies. Already selling the potica, Judy and Carla began selling the pies and fruit bread. Thus creating the first additions to the long list of products offered at the Mauro Farms & Bakery.

We have added other favorite recipes including the Italian cookies, biscotti, homemade cookies, and candies. All of our products are made by hand from scratch – we take pride in our products and strive to keep a high standard of quality. Only using all-natural ingredients right down to the littlest detail, we even grow some of the ingredients ourselves: pumpkins, rhubarb, & zucchini. The fruit used in our sweet breads and pies are from Colorado grown farms and the walnuts in the Potica are from a small family farm just like us.

We hope that you enjoy our products as much as we do.

We are located at 936 36th Ln, Pueblo, CO 81006
